My Background
I have been delivering technology solutions to Enterprise, Medium, and Small businesses and government organizations for nearly 30 years. I have successfully run and improved software engineering teams, service delivery teams, program management teams, and portfolio management teams. My PhD is in Organizational Management with a concentration in Information Technology Management. My research focus continues to be on the human factors that cause organizations to fail at their desperately needed digital transformations.
Why I’m Writing This
Too many talented technologists get thrown into leadership roles with zero support. I’ve seen it (and lived it): the isolation, the pressure, the endless fire drills. But I’ve also seen what’s possible when smart people are given the right mindset and tools.
This newsletter is my way of paying it forward.
